In my family, fika wasn’t just a coffee break. It was a way of life.

My great-grandfather, a Swedish businessman, practiced it every afternoon — a pause from work to share bread, laughter, and presence with family. His one rule? Business stayed at the office.

That ritual of rest and reconnection shaped how we live and inspired how we built Fika.

We’ve reimagined that same spirit for modern life: a nightly invitation to slow down, restore, and savor something good. And we can’t wait to see how you bring Fika into your own daily life!

More than a drink

I’m in recovery.

That means I’ve lived through addiction — the kind that burns your life down — and then built it back from the ground up.

I tried everything to find peace: breathwork, movement, faith, running therapy. Okay, you get it. I needed a lot of help. What I learned is that recovery isn’t just staying sober — it’s rebuilding your nervous system, one calm night at a time.

My breakthroughs came from finding community and realizing, in the long run, that my body could go farther than my mind believed.

Fika was born from that journey — to help others find the same freedom, peace, and self-acceptance that saved my life. Every scoop comes from love, discipline, and the belief that recovery, in any form, can taste good. That’s why a portion of every purchase goes toward addiction recovery.
